1A FIRST WHAT BEGAN ALL OUR SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS:

“TO WHOM COMING“. this term means coming to Jesus Christ. drawing near to Christ. Matthew 11:28; John 6:35; 37,44,65, 7:37 Leviticus 9:5;Deut.5:27; Exodus12:4;8; 16:9; Hebrews 4:16; 7:25; 10:1, 22; 11:6; 1218 and 22; Ephesians 1:3;

The word “coming” has the meaning of coming with the ideal of remaining. Coming to Him to remain in intimate, personal, communion, relationship and abiding.

“AS UNTO A LIVING STONE There is a building going on here. There is a spiritual relationship and abiding.

“STONE.” The stone of the ground used in a building. A stone that was perfectly shaped and perfectly designed. Daniel 5:26. 45′; Isaiah 28:16;

“LIVING” A metaphor: Christ is the Living Stone. I Corinthians 10:4; Exodus 17:6, John 5:26,40; 11`:25-36

This Stone, Jesus, living, perfect building stone. A living stone which God can used to build His Church. Isaiah 28:16; First Corinthians 15:45;

2A THIS STONE WAS REJECTED INDEED OF MEN

Jesus said: Matthew 21:42; from Psalms 118:22, Isaiah 28:16. Mark 12:10; Acts 4:11; Ephesians 2:20

They have rejected the foundation of God’s church. After examination, to examine, and deem useless

They were looking for one that should come as a earthly prince, to deliver them out of the hands of the Romans. They were looking for one who would agree with their laws, customs, and traditions. He wouldn’t and they rejected. Isaiah 53:3 and Acts 4:11.

3A BUT CHOSEN OF GOD….AND PRECIOUS

First Peter 2 4 Choosen Prescious

But in the sight of God: a chosen out One and Highly honored and precious. “distinguished in the present of God; “choice and valuable” Precious, costly, expensive.”

“‘CHOSEN:” elect, favorite of God. Isaiah 42:1; Matthew 12:18; 2 Peter 1:1, 4

“PRECIOUS:” prized, highly esteemed to God.

God examined Him too.. and found Him, elect, and precious. God looked at Jesus and said, “He is perfect, He is elected to be the Living Stone of My Spiritual Edifice.
