  • Preaching: Explaining the text. Giving the God intended meaning of the text, And what it requires
  • The term Expository is the adjective and preaching is the noun.
  • Expository explains a certain kind of preaching. It is biblical preaching. Setting forth the presentation of principle things. An explanation.
  • The definition of expository is something intended to explain or describe
  • synonyms serving to explain: it opens up the meaning of the text and shows it relevance to the life of the hearer.And heavily teaching orientated

  3. explanative,
  4. explanatory,
  5. explicative,
  6. expositive,
  7. hermeneutic,
  8. hermeneutical,
  9. illustrative,

  11. interpretive.

The noun is preaching:  preaching goes beyond teaching.

  1. Preaching medals with people’s lives.
  2. Preaching reaches higher and extends future.
  3. Not only in its content but in its tone.
